Mrs. Fahnhorst's 8th grade history class played a good ol' fashioned game of spoons to review for their French and Indian War test. It got rowdy!

Shawn was involved in a serious accident at work on Friday, September 6th, when a piece of equipment struck him in the head, causing a severe laceration across his forehead and a skull fracture, among other injuries. He spent nine days in the hospital, and since coming home on September 14th, we’ve been focused on his recovery, managing pain, and getting much-needed rest. It’s been an incredibly difficult and exhausting time, but we are profoundly grateful for how fortunate Shawn has been. Every doctor and nurse has reminded us that the outcome could have been far worse, and we feel so lucky that he’s still with us. Right now, our priority is Shawn’s health and recovery, and neither of us is working at the moment. When you give online to this fundraiser, your gift goes directly to the family, and Lend A Hand Up provides a 20% financial boost to increase your giving value. The Lend A Hand Up boost applies solely to online gifts processed through this giving site. Should you wish to make a gift by cash or check, your generosity should be directed to the family or their fund at Gate City Bank, as Lend A Hand Up does not process cash or check gifts for families. https://lendahandup.org/give/shawn805/
