The 2026 KHS Homecoming Pep-Rally included the tradition of seniors passing the school spirit over to the kindergarten class. The class of 2027 met the class of 2039 at the 50 yard line to present the young Vikings with a gift of a key chain, made by the FFA club, and a few other items to start them out.
The KHS drone club captured video of the exchange and the Student Council read a message to all Vikings reminding them of what a special experience it is to be a Viking. The kindergarteners were outfitted in their "Viking Spirit" t-shirts provided by Superior Grain Equipment. The overall tradition was also made possible by Mary Jane and Scott Nipstad, Twisted Js, and of course all our staff and community members helping with music, photos, video and directing students.
