Congratulations to the Kindred FLL Robotics teams! At the State competition held on February 7th in Grand Forks, ND, the Kindred Koders team received 1st place award for their Innovation project!
Two teams composed of 6th, 7th, and 8th graders worked hard this year on research projects and robot games focused on archaeology. The two Kindred teams competed at the Fargo Regional tournaments on January 24 and both teams were awarded trips to the state championship competition.
The Kindred “GigaVykes” team developed and designed a prototype solar charging station for remote archaeological sites. The Kindred “Koders” team created an integrated site security system for archaeological sites. Both teams did an amazing job of learning about the engineering design process.
