" Fill the Dome "

"Fill the Dome" is an entirely student run food drive that many area schools participate in.  This is Kindred's first year being involved in "Fill the Dome", and all K-12 students, along with all members of our school community, will be invited to participate. Please bring non-perishable food donations to drop boxes at one of the following locations: Kindred Lutheran Church, Norman Lutheran Church, Davenport Lutheran Church, Walcott Lutheran Church, Hickson Lutheran Church, St. Benedict's Church, St. Maurice's Church, M & M Store (Leonard), Wanglers (Kindred), Kindred School commons & elementary classrooms.  Donations will be collected at the school November 16 - 19, and all other locations November 16-22.  Items will be picked up on the 20th and then transported to the Fargodome on the 23rd. There will be competitions in the elementary grades with prizes going to the classes that bring the most food per student.  Money donations are also welcome, and can be dropped off at the school office or given to your student's homeroom teacher.

The theme for the 2009 project is the number "75". The goals for Fill the Dome 2009 include: raising $75,000, collecting 75 tons of food, and engaging 7,500 volunteers.  Our goal for Kindred's first year is to collect $1,000 in donations, and collect enough food to cover our gym floor.

For more information visit fillthedome.org (link below), or contact Kyle Toppen @ 701-238-4240.  NO donation is too big or too small.
