As the 2017-18 school year approaches we are excited about another year in Kindred athletics!
The Viking Booster Club believes that student involvement in sports, attendance of sport functions, together with parent and community involvement creates pride in the school and community it represents. Encouraging participation at all levels and in all types of sports, and nurturing the pride created by student involvement are the goals of the Viking Booster Club.
All are welcome to become members. The Booster Club is made up of parents, grandparents, coaches, teachers, and others throughout the community. Membership cost is $10.00 and your membership form can be dropped off in the Booster Club Store during school registration or mailed.
The Booster club is funded through membership, concessions, and Vikings gear. All parents of high school athletes are required to work the concessions. Parents will be contacted by email when concession sign up is available.
SAVE THE DATE!! The 11th Annual Viking Pride will be March 10, 2018.
Viking Pride is an annual fundraising event where dollars raised are dedicated to enhancing the athletic experience for our athletes. The m ajor benefactor from this past Viking Pride is the wrestling program. The Booster Club will be purchasing two new wrestling mats along with padding covering the walls in their new practice space totaling around $30,000.
